Brazil TIPs project may unlock key answers in health care delivery while creating immersive student research opportunities

Dec. 12, 2016—Provost and Vice Chancellor Susan R. Wente is seeking input from Vanderbilt colleges and schools on their priorities for the future investments in graduate education and research announced by Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos at the Fall Faculty Assembly.
University Courses proposals due Dec. 12; Application windows open for Discovery and Research Scholar Grants Dec. 19
Dec. 5, 2016—The deadline for University Courses proposals is Monday, Dec. 12. The Office of the Provost is also issuing a call for proposals for the Discovery Grants and Research Scholar Grants programs.
Nov. 15, 2016—Pre-proposals for the 2017-18 round of Trans-Institutional Programs (TIPs) are due Monday, Nov. 28, and proposals for University Courses are due Monday, Dec. 12.
Nov. 8, 2016—Thanks to the Cross-College Teaching Initiative that began this semester, computer science professors Doug Schmidt and Jules White launched the University Course "Tackling Big Questions with Mobile Cloud Computing."
