Part of 25th Avenue to close to vehicles, provide alternative pedestrian pathways
Beginning Monday, July 17, 25th Avenue from Blakemore Avenue to Jess Neely Drive will close to vehicle traffic. The intersection at 25th Avenue and Jess Neely Drive will remain open. Access road installation from Stevenson Center Lane to Garland Hall changes pedestrian routes beginning June 26
Garland Hall will be undergoing construction to improve the building's interior and enhance accessibility. To prepare for this project, an access road will be installed in three phases to minimize the impact to pedestrian traffic. Commons houses to undergo furniture, flooring upgrades this summer
The Office of Housing and Residential Experience will upgrade student rooms in Hank Ingram and Gillette Houses on The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons this summer. From May 15 through July 15, beds, case goods and hard-surface flooring will be replaced. Contractors may work late nights and weekends to complete the project before fall move-in.
