Chancellor: Hiring of James Franklin marks new day for football program

Space travel is not off the table if it would help bolster the Vanderbilt football program under new head coach James Franklin, said Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos. He, along with David Williams II, vice chancellor for university affairs and athletics, introduced Franklin as the 27th head coach of Vanderbilt football.

Julian Bond to give keynote address during MLK celebration

Civil rights leader and former NAACP Chairman Julian Bond will deliver the keynote address at a 4:30 p.m. event at Vanderbilt University commemorating the life and legacy of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, Jan. 17.
