Vanderbilt summit on modern conflict to feature Gen. Paul M. Nakasone, commander of U.S. Cyber Command and director of NSA
 
The origins, realities and impacts of the most pressing threats facing the world today are the focus of the inaugural Vanderbilt Summit on Modern Conflict and Emerging Threats. The May 4-5 summit will feature a keynote address by Gen. Paul M. Nakasone, commander of U.S. Cyber Command and director of the National Security Agency.

REGISTER: Author and advocate Cyntoia Brown Long, former Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam to discuss criminal justice reform tomorrow
 
For the first time since former Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam granted clemency to sex trafficking victim and convicted murderer Cyntoia Brown Long, the two will sit down together for an event at Vanderbilt University to discuss criminal justice reform. The discussion will be held in Langford Auditorium and via livestream on Tuesday, March 15, at 6 p.m. CT.
