Jul. 14, 2016—The SEC Network Takeover begins Monday, July 18, and the Commodores will be the first out of the gates. For the second year in a row, the SEC Network is providing each league member 24 hours of exclusive programming.
Mar. 17, 2016—Vanderbilt Athletics is teaming up with the Southeastern Conference to host a Minority Football Officials Clinic March 18 and 19 in the Commodores’ football facilities. The clinic is believed to be the first of its kind.
Jan. 6, 2016—George MacIntyre, who served six years as head coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores and guided the squad to an appearance in the 1982 Hall of Fame Bowl, died Tuesday in Nashville following a lengthy illness. He was 76.

Dec. 5, 2013—Commodore football fans are invited to join Coach James Franklin and his Vanderbilt student-athletes on campus this Sunday evening as the team celebrates its third consecutive bowl game invitation.
Jul. 29, 2013—The Commodore football team will open its 2013 season Aug. 29 with a nationally televised game on ESPN, necessitating some adjustments in parking and traffic flow for Vanderbilt personnel.
