Details on tax-advantaged accounts available for 2019 health care benefit options

Oct. 12, 2018—Vanderbilt offers two distinct types of tax-advantaged plans to help pay for health care costs on a pre-tax  basis: the new Health Savings Account (HSA) for employees electing the Choice CDHP and the health care Flexible Spending Account (HC-FSA) for employees electing the Select PPO or waiving coverage.
