Feb. 27, 2014—William Cooper, M.D., MPH, Cornelius Vanderbilt Professor of Pediatrics and Health Policy, testified Tuesday before the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) committee regarding psychotropic medications and treatments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Hyundai award helps drive hope for cancer research
Sep. 19, 2013—Emmanuel Volanakis, M.D., assistant professor of Pediatrics and Hematology/Oncology, was awarded a $250,000 Hyundai Hope On Wheels grant last week for his ongoing research into T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), an aggressive blood cancer.
Federal grant bolsters pulmonary fibrosis research
