Colleagues remember Graham  printer

Members of the Vanderbilt community gathered Feb. 12 at the Student Life Center to remember Professor of Political Science George J. Graham Jr., who died Nov. 30, 2006, after a battle with lung cancer. Graham, 68, was a member of the faculty for more than 40 years, serving as associate dean in the College of Arts and Science from 1986 to 1988 and from 1997 to 2000, and as a former chair of the Department of Political Science. Graham taught courses throughout the fall semester, despite undergoing extensive cancer treatments. Colleagues and friends, including College of Arts and Science Associate Dean Francille Bergquist (pictured), remembered Graham as a dedicated teacher, researcher, mentor and friend.
