Save the Date: Spring Faculty Assembly is April 3

Due to the severe weather impacting our region, the Faculty Senate Executive Committee and university leadership have made the decision to reschedule today’s Spring Faculty Assembly to a future date. More information will be shared soon.

This decision was made out of an abundance of caution and in recognition of the disruptions caused by school closures, flooding concerns, and other weather-related challenges affecting many in our community.

We remain committed to celebrating the recipients of the Spring Faculty Awards. We will announce this year’s winners soon and are planning a future event to honor their achievements more fully.

Chancellor Daniel Diermeier and the Faculty Senate will celebrate faculty achievements and provide key university updates at the 2025 Spring Faculty Assembly on Thursday, April 3.

Many of the university’s highest honors will be presented during the in-person gathering, which will be at 4:10 p.m. in the Student Life Center Ballroom. Additionally, faculty who have served Vanderbilt for 25 years will be recognized.
