Vanderbilt launches annual Alcohol and Other Drug Survey to support campus well-being

Vanderbilt University continues its commitment to promoting a safe, supportive and healthy campus environment by launching its annual Alcohol and Other Drug Survey. The survey, conducted by the Center for Student Wellbeing, is a key initiative in understanding and addressing substance use across campus.

The survey seeks to gather students’ perspectives on alcohol and drug use, providing valuable insights that will inform future decisions about campus culture, safety and student support services. Students randomly selected to participate received an official survey invitation on Feb. 24 from Student Affairs.

The survey is confidential and responses are anonymous. Data will be reported in aggregate, ensuring no personal information is shared.

As a token of appreciation, students who complete the survey will have the chance to win one of eight Vanderbilt-branded Yeti tumblers.

The survey results will help shape a campus that prioritizes student health, safety and well-being. We encourage all selected participants to share their feedback, as their input plays a crucial role in improving the campus experience. Your voice matters!
