Vanderbilt, Special Olympics Tennessee bid to host 2030 USA Games in Nashville

Vanderbilt University and Special Olympics Tennessee announced this week that they have partnered to place a bid to host the 2030 Special Olympics USA Games.

Special Olympics has narrowed its 2030 site search down to either Nashville or Cleveland, Ohio. If  awarded the bid, the 2030 games would bring an estimated 4,500 athletes and 10,000 volunteers from around the country to Music City.

The hosting bid has been endorsed by The Nashville Airport (BNA), The Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp., Music City Center, the Tennessee Titans, the Nashville Predators, government officials, celebrities, and various other state and local businesses and leadership.
