The countdown is on: Less than 100 days to Commencement 2025 at GEODIS Park

The clock is ticking down as Vanderbilt quickly approaches a major milestone—Commencement is officially less than 100 days away.

Vanderbilt University’s undergraduate Class of 2025 will have a familiar backdrop for their May 9 Commencement ceremony: GEODIS Park, home of the Nashville Soccer Club. GEODIS Park is the largest soccer-specific stadium in the U.S. and Canada—and it’s only four miles from campus.

The ceremony, which will be held rain or shine, begins at 9 a.m. Interactive activities will be set up inside and around the outside of the stadium to provide students and their guests with things to do before and after the ceremony.  The ceremony at GEODIS Park will be a ticketed event.

TRANSPORTATION DETAILS

This year expanded parking and transportation options will be available in addition to the student shuttle service provided from campus.

ADDITIONAL COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES

Graduate and professional student Commencement ceremonies will be Friday, May 9, on campus. Colleges and schools will release information about their specific ceremonies in the coming weeks.

Students who are involved in campus organizations will get information from them about any graduate recognition ceremonies in the days leading up to Commencement.

Graduates are encouraged to use #VU2025 on social media to celebrate their Commencement journey.

More details will be shared on the Commencement website as they are available.
