Faculty invited to share input, ask questions related to innovation space on campus

During the Fall Faculty Assembly in August, Chancellor Diermeier noted the university is co-leading efforts to develop the region’s innovation economy—the segment of the economy driven by invention and entrepreneurship—and explained that we are in the very early stages of planning for space for innovation on or adjacent to campus.

As part of that long-term planning process, Vice Provost for Research and Innovation and Chief Research Officer Padma Raghavan and Director of Space Planning Megan Sargent invite faculty to join them for coffee and conversation about considerations for future innovation spaces. The first of two conversation sessions will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Alumni Hall Memorial Room (202).

There will be an additional coffee and conversation on Monday, Jan. 13. More details regarding that session will be shared soon.

While an RSVP is not required to attend a session, completing the reservation helps us provide enough coffee for participants.

Bring your questions and ideas and join a conversation.
