Vanderbilt University may submit one application to the First Horizon Grants for Good Campaign.
Overview
To honor First Horizon’s 160th anniversary, celebrate the company’s ongoing strength and stability, and reiterate their commitment to the communities they serve, First Horizon is awarding $10,000 grants to eligible organizations.
An organization’s submission must highlight how support from the First Horizon Foundation will strengthen our communities through programs and services provided by the organization.
Areas of impact include but are not limited to:
- Financial stability such as:
- Financial literacy training
- Down payment assistance
- Emergency financial support
- Community stability such as:
- Rebuilding efforts
- Affordable housing
- Sustainability projects
- Community health and wellness such as:
- Healthcare services
- Food service, food pantry
- Educational programs
- Social determinants of health
Eligibility & Criteria
- Compelling story of the impact the organization is making in the community and how First Horizon’s support will enhance that impact
- Creativity and originality
- Motivation and inspiration
- Overall measurable community impact

Internal Application Process
Interested faculty should visit https://vanderbilt.infoready4.com/#competitionDetail/1936653 to apply for the internal LSO competition and to find additional information about the opportunity. The deadline for the internal competition is April 19, 2024.
