Vanderbilt celebrates Graduate Student Appreciation Week this week with events hosted by the Graduate School to recognize and appreciate students. This annual celebration was established in 1993 by the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students to support and appreciate students and emphasize their contributions and impact on campuses throughout the United States.
The diverse contributions of graduate students at Vanderbilt greatly enhance the academic and research excellence of our university, and we celebrate their remarkable achievements, especially during this special week of recognition. The weeklong festivities include a variety of events and activities to celebrate students.
