As we continue to see the effects of winter weather, it is crucial to remain vigilant and aware of potential hazards.
- Temperatures are expected to be in single digits with a wind chill below zero. If you need to be outside, wear layers of loose-fitting warm clothing, with a hat and gloves.
- Ice-covered surfaces can be treacherous, increasing the risk of slips and falls. Use caution, wear appropriate footwear and use designated walkways.
- The accumulation of snow and ice on roofs can lead to sudden dislodgement, be aware when walking next to buildings.
