Reevaluate your commute needs with updated parking calculator; apply for daily parking by Dec. 19 for January garage access

Commuting needs change over time. MoveVU’s commute calculator, with the added feature of specifying number of weeks on campus, can help determine which parking option may be best for you. Considering how many weeks per year you are on campus (and excluding time off for vacations, winter break, etc.) may alter your calculations.

Use the commute calculator >>

Enrollees in daily parking can earn $1 per weekday by logging daily WeGo bus or train (free with your physical Commodore Card), walk, bike, carpool or vanpool commutes in the MoveVU Commute Hub or Luum app. Vehicle ownership is NOT REQUIRED for daily parking enrollment. Daily parking charges only accrue when parking activity is logged in Sony, Terrace, Wesley and West garages.

Switching from annual to daily parking:

  • No action is needed for those remaining with their current parking option.
  • Daily parking applications are due by noon on Dec. 19 for garage access by Jan. 1.
  • Make sure to email parking@vanderbilt.edu by noon Dec. 19 to cancel your annual parking permit.
  • If you choose to switch to daily parking after Dec. 19, applications are continually accepted on a rolling basis. Applications received by noon on Wednesdays will be activated by the end of each week.
