Celebrate innovation, collaboration, creativity and curiosity at 2023 TN Maker Fest

  • Saturday, Oct. 7, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
  • A free, family-friendly event
  • Hosted by the Wond’ry, Vanderbilt’s Innovation Center

This free, family-friendly event, held at the Wond’ry, Vanderbilt’s Innovation Center, will showcase novices and experts of all ages with one major thing in common: a joy for making and creation. Previously known as the Nashville Mini Maker Faire, this beloved event has attracted more than 4,000 curious visitors to its doors. We hope it will continue to inspire and challenge minds young and old to explore the amazing and varied world of “making” by sparking creativity, sharing skills and connecting participants to the people who are helping to shape our amazing state.

From tech enthusiasts and scientists, to embroiderers, crafters and everything in between, this event will feature an incredible gathering of makers who will show off their hobbies, projects, experiments and creations. We cannot wait to display their amazing talents and gifts to the Tennessee community. This event will feature more than 50 exhibitors and will include robotics, authors, fashionistas, science club members, artists, hobbyists and commercial groups. There will be some familiar faces from the Middle Tennessee area, as we will be joined by the Adventure Science Center, Studio NPL (Nashville Public Library), Lipscomb Academy Students, East Nashville Transmitters, Green Hills YMCA, Frist Center for Autism and Innovation, and MTRAS – Middle TN Robotics, among others. You may even get to see some of your favorite Star Wars characters roaming around!

Visitors will enjoy a number of hands-on making opportunities themselves, with many exhibitors allowing a glimpse into their crafts and inventions. Want to capture the moment with the family? Shatterproof Media will be offering complimentary photos with their next-level photographic entertainment services. This event will feature flavors from some of Tennessee’s favorite local food trucks, and free parking will be available in the 25th Avenue Garage.

To learn more about this event, and for free registration, go to Want to be involved? We are still accepting submissions for exhibitors/vendors, as well as volunteers for the event. Sign-ups can be found on the website, or you can email
