The Vanderbilt Project on Unity and American Democracy invites undergraduates to apply for its Student Advisory Board. This group will contribute to the Unity Project’s mission of enhancing Americans’ capacity for civic engagement, provide advice on additional programming, and have the opportunity to interact with prominent guests.
In these tumultuous times for our country, it is important to collaborate across political alignments and cultural experiences to foster unity. To incorporate more effectively Vanderbilt student voices and to continue to develop better programming, the Unity Project is hoping to utilize a small number of undergraduates to help advance its mission.
Chosen through a competitive application process and representing a wide variety of academic disciplines, the Student Advisory Board will reflect the diversity of opinion and experience inherent in Vanderbilt’s undergraduate population. Student Advisory Board members will contribute their ideas and expertise to the Unity Project’s research and programming while participating in opportunities that engage with the project’s co-chairs and speakers.
Students can apply here today: https://redcap.vanderbilt.edu/surveys/?s=FA49JARK3N4LACTL
Applications should be submitted no later than noon, 12 p.m. CT, on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
