Submissions accepted through Sept. 19 for UCC’s ‘Healing Through Art Night’

The University Counseling Center invites students to create and submit original artwork to be displayed at “Healing Through Art Night,” which will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 3. The intention of the Healing Through Art initiative is for students visiting the UCC to be surrounded by the stories, voices and support of the Vanderbilt community, and that the artwork will serve as a visible reminder that they are not alone.

The theme for this year’s Healing Through Art initiative is “COMMUNITY.” Artwork may include paintings, photography, calligraphy, poems, etc., and students are encouraged to keep this theme in mind when creating and selecting pieces for submission.

Students interested in submitting artwork can complete this form by Tuesday, Sept. 19. For any questions, please reach out to the UCC’s Outreach Coordinator Aneesa Anderson.
