Faculty are invited to participate in a Dialogue Vanderbilt workshop co-hosted by the faculty senate and the divisions of government and community relations and communications and marketing to update participants on how Vanderbilt currently advocates on behalf of the university and share best practices to help faculty members who want to advocate on topics of interest. The event will explore how faculty can be part of a community that champions institutional neutrality while advocating personally for issues.
Lunch will be provided during the interactive workshop. Due to space limitations, reservations are required and up to 70 faculty may participate in this inaugural workshop.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, September 28, from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Board of Trust room in the Student Life Center.
