The Nashville Department of Transportation is working in partnership with WeGo Public Transit, the Nashville Downtown Partnership and the Tennessee Department of Transportation to make getting through downtown easier with the Connect Downtown project.
The efforts to improve access to, from and within the downtown core will help the Vanderbilt community make best use of a variety of means of transportation for commutes as well as meetings, entertainment, shopping and dining. This phase of outreach seeks feedback on specific solutions, including priority loading areas, transit priority corridors, mobility lanes and traffic operations and congestion management strategies to help shape the final project recommendations.
