Spring 2023 Undergraduate Writing Symposium and Arts Showcase is April 13

The Vanderbilt Writing Studio and the Office of Experiential Learning and Immersion Vanderbilt invite the Vanderbilt community to attend the Spring 2023 Undergraduate Writing Symposium & Arts Showcase. This event is a celebration of student-created work and features projects representative of a variety of fields and disciplines. All featured projects were developed under the mentorship of Vanderbilt University faculty and staff mentors and advisers.

The Undergraduate Writing Symposium & Arts Showcase is in partnership with the Vanderbilt Writing Studio’s Undergraduate Creative Writing Symposium and features an address from Vice Provost of Arts and Libraries Tracy Denean Sharpley-Whiting. Attendees can tour the showcase and hear student authors share their fiction, nonfiction and poetry on panels beginning at 3:15 p.m., 4:15 p.m. and 5:05 p.m. The full program can be viewed on the 2023 Undergraduate Creative Writing Symposium Program page. 

Those unable to attend are welcome to view a digital portfolio that will be available on the Office of Experiential Learning and Immersion Vanderbilt’s website.
