Chancellor Daniel Diermeier will host an online meeting for the Vanderbilt community on Wednesday, March 29, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
In light of Monday’s tragic shooting at The Covenant School, the focus of this meeting will be an opportunity to mourn together as a community as well as share information and resources to help process these events.
Diermeier will be joined by others from Vanderbilt who can offer insight into the university’s response, mental health resources and safety protocols. The speakers include:
- C. Cybele Raver, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs
- G.L. Black, vice provost for student affairs and dean of students
- Pam Jones, associate vice chancellor for health and wellness
- August Washington, senior associate vice chancellor for public safety and special initiatives
All Vanderbilt community members can attend via Zoom by registering here. Time will be reserved during the meeting for the chancellor to take questions.
