Provide feedback on proposed WeGo spring service changes through Feb. 7

The Vanderbilt community is encouraged to share feedback with WeGo Public Transit regarding proposed service changes planned for spring 2023.

Proposed route, schedule and service changes of note for spring 2023 for Vanderbilt riders include:

  • 18 Airport – Change downtown routing and add local service on all trips from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. This change allows easier access from Vanderbilt University by transferring from Routes 3A, 3B or 7 at the Hume-Fogg bus stop, without traveling to WeGo Central.
  • Schedule adjustments to multiple routes, including 3A West End/White Bridge and 3B West End/Bellevue, and service extension of 77 Thompson/Wedgewood to 10 p.m.
  • WeGo Link – Expand service to Bellevue, Cockrill Bend and Sylvan Park.

Additional spring service changes that were approved in fall 2022 have been put on hold while WeGo addresses staffing and vehicle shortages.
