The Women and Working Moms Employee Affinity Group will meet in person on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Sarratt 189. Vanderbilt employees who identify as women and mothers are encouraged to attend.
Employee Affinity Groups, or EAGs, are created and facilitated by employees around interests, backgrounds, identities and common bonds to help foster a positive work environment at Vanderbilt and support the university’s values specific to diversity, inclusion and campus engagement. These groups expand resources and provide Vanderbilt employees with more spaces to build community and a sense of belonging.
The Women and Working Moms EAG is a place for faculty and staff who identify as women and mothers and are seeking support and belonging in the fast-paced career space. The mission of the group is to offer a safe space to discuss and access resources, commune in fellowship, expand professional networks and strengthen social interactions.
Coffee and bagels will be served at the Dec. 7 meeting.
