Vanderbilt Student Government’s annual Angel Tree initiative helps provide gifts to local children from Metro Nashville Public Schools during the holiday season.
VSG invites students, faculty, staff and campus organizations to participate. The deadline to sign up is Friday, Nov. 25. Individuals and groups are welcome to sponsor as many children as they would like.
By sponsoring a child, VSG asks that participants purchase gifts based on the child’s submitted wish list, wrap them and return them to VSG. You will receive a confirmation email within a day of signing up. Following the confirmation email, you will receive your match including the child’s wish list. This year more than 400 children are in need of sponsorship.
The VSG Angel Tree is a great way to give back to the Nashville community and put a smile on a child’s face this holiday season.
