Annual commute survey now open

Vanderbilt University conducts an annual survey to determine the commute and transportation practices of the university community. Whether you primarily work from home, commute to campus every day, or anything in between, your feedback will help inform mobility and transportation efforts and help expand Vanderbilt’s understanding and support of the community.

The survey was emailed to you on Monday, Nov. 7. If you do not see it in your inbox, please check your spam and quarantine folders. Each emailed survey link has a unique code, so please do not forward the email to anyone else.

The survey should take about five–10 minutes to complete. Five people who complete the survey by Monday, Nov. 14, will be randomly selected to win $100 each.

In 2019, a similar survey informed goals for MoveVU, Vanderbilt’s strategic transportation and mobility plan. MoveVU calls for diversification of transportation options and reduction of the drive-alone rate to campus. Much has changed in worldwide commuting patterns since 2019. We want to better understand your current commuting patterns as we reset MoveVU goals.

This survey is intended to gather information about the university community’s preferences and is not a guarantee of future program offerings or policy changes.

Please contact Ryan Corser, survey administrator, at surveys@vanderbilt.edu with questions or issues regarding this survey. Visit the MoveVU website to learn more about the university’s strategic transportation and mobility plan as well as commute concierge services that are available to the Vanderbilt University community.
