Healing Through Art Gallery Night is Nov. 8

The University Counseling Center will celebrate the creative arts as a fun and meaningful form of self-expression and self-care on Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. The Vanderbilt community is invited to the inaugural Healing Through Art Gallery Night at the University Counseling Center, located at 2015 Terrace Place, where the artwork of students will be on display.

“Transformation” is this year’s theme for the Healing Through Art gallery. Attendees are welcome to journey through the gallery and reflect on what transformation means to them, participate in fun activities, and enjoy free food.

The intention of the Healing Through Art initiative is for students visiting the UCC to be surrounded by the stories, voices and support of the Vanderbilt community. The hope is that the artwork will serve as visible reminders that they are not alone.
