This is a one-day event filled with photo booths, mascots and more. You don’t want to miss out on all the fun and excitement throughout the day!
Parking will be available in the 25th Avenue Garage, in either the 24th Avenue or 25th Avenue entrances. Bring your Commodore Card and wear short sleeves.
For more information about the flu vaccine and the event, visit the Flulapalooza website.
Can’t make it to Flulapalooza?
The best way to reduce the risk of getting and spreading the flu is by receiving the flu vaccination. If you are not able to attend Flulapalooza, there are other opportunities for the Vanderbilt community to receive a flu vaccine.
- Students: Flu shots will be available at the Student Health Center following Flulapalooza
- Students and employees: Vanderbilt Health Walk-in Clinics (walk-ins available) and Vanderbilt Health Clinics at Walgreens (by appointment)
- Employees: Occupational Health Clinics (walk-ins available)
Vanderbilt offices can sign up for the “OHC Comes to You” program to request a departmental onsite flu vaccine event. Submit a departmental event request at OHC Comes to You.
Flu vaccines can take up to two weeks after being administered to provide full protection, so it is recommended that you obtain it as soon as you can to ensure the greatest protection throughout the entire flu season.

Volunteer at Flulapalooza
Volunteer opportunities are available for clinical and nonclinical staff as vaccinators, vaccinator helpers and assistants streamlining patient flow. All employees can volunteer, but they need to receive approval from their supervisor before registering for the two-hour shifts.
Supervisors and managers should be aware that the volunteer time approved for the event will be compensated from the employee’s department and not through the Flulapalooza event.
