The Vanderbilt community is encouraged to share feedback with WeGo Public Transit regarding proposed service changes planned for fall 2022 and spring 2023.
Routing and schedule adjustments proposed for various bus routes for fall 2022 include:
- Dickson and Bellevue commuters: An additional stop on route 88 Dickson is proposed at the Bellevue Park & Ride, which is a return of service for commuters who used to ride the Bellevue express bus (route 24x).
- WeGo Link service is proposed to expand this fall.
- Access on Demand (premium paratransit service) hours are proposed to extend during the week until midnight.
Proposed service changes for spring 2023 for improvements to routes near Vanderbilt’s campus include:
- Service until 1:15 a.m. Monday–Saturday on routes 3A West End/White Bridge and 7 Hillsboro Pike
- More frequent midday runs on routes 7 and 8 Eighth Avenue South
- Improved frequency for routes 75 Midtown and 77 Thompson/Wedgewood from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. all week
All of these changes are in line with the next phase of Better Bus improvements.
