Love food? Curious to learn about other cultures? Want to make a difference in a student’s life? Then the EAT program is for you!
International Student and Scholar Services is recruiting hosts for its EAT program. EAT matches local hosts with Vanderbilt international students and scholars for a meal on selected dates. Students and scholars are placed in small groups (2-4 people) and connected with their host.
EAT will take place on various dates throughout May, June and July. Once matched, students and scholars will be invited to their host’s home for a meal.
The EAT program provides international students and scholars a chance to enjoy food and culture with a local family. In return, local hosts have a valuable opportunity to learn more about other cultures and experiences. This program is a wonderful way to make friends for life. Past participants have remarked that they keep in touch with their partners years after first meeting.
