Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs C. Cybele Raver will discuss “Science and Social Impact: A Path From Early-stage Career to University Leadership” on Monday, April 4, at noon in Light Hall, Room 208.
Raver’s talk is the annual Simpson Lecture sponsored by Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
Raver is an esteemed developmental psychologist whose leadership has spanned research, clinical, academic and administrative settings. She oversees all faculty, staff, programs and initiatives for Vanderbilt’s 10 schools and colleges. She also leads the university’s research, admissions, student affairs and residential life.
