WeGo Public Transit is implementing systemwide service changes that offer bus riders improved frequency on local routes during peak times, route extensions and more late-night trips on select routes. Vanderbilt community members had the opportunity to share feedback on proposed service changes during a transit forum co-hosted by WeGo Public Transit and MoveVU in December.
Learn more about the service changes that will take effect April 3 in the Service Change Guide on the WeGo Public Transit website.
Taking the bus is free, convenient, sustainable and available to all. As a reminder, Vanderbilt provides all full-time and part-time Vanderbilt University students, faculty, staff and postdocs with free access to Nashville’s buses using their Commodore Card. This service is available for any place and time, not only when commuting to and from campus. Learn more about how to plan, swipe and ride at vu.edu/bus.
MoveVU is Vanderbilt’s strategic transportation and mobility plan that falls under the FutureVU comprehensive campus planning efforts. For more information, visit the MoveVU website and Instagram.
