Xiu Cravens, professor of the practice of education policy, describes how her understanding of her culture, language and opportunities in China informs her work with Vanderbilt students.
Cravens is also associate professor of Asian studies, associate dean for international students and affairs and director of international education policy and management M.Ed. program at Vanderbilt Peabody College of education and human development.
