The lower level of the Center Garage (Lot 206A) will close on Monday, March 21. This closure is anticipated to last at least three weeks and is necessary to make repairs to the garage. Repairs had been scheduled for fall break but were delayed by bad weather.
Annual parking permit holders can instead use:
- Nearby lots, including Lots 5A, 5B, 12F, 153 and Baker Garage (Baker Garage often has open spaces during peak times above Level 3. Parkers can use the garage and elevators in the building.)
- Lots 5 and 6 across 21st Avenue South
- Lots 131B and 132 off Grand Avenue
- Any of the lots identified as Annual Permit Parking on the parking map
Parking Services staff are communicating to reserved parking permit holders about relocated spaces.
Except for vehicles, access to the Center building will remain the same. Bollards will block vehicles but will leave enough space to accommodate access to the building.
