In response to Vanderbilt’s updated health and safety protocols for visitors and suppliers, the Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries have announced new visitor hours and policies with visitor restrictions no longer in effect.
Beginning Monday, March 14, the libraries are open to visitors at the following times:
- Eskind Biomedical Library: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Central Library: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.; visitor access via campus side door only.
- Divinity Library: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.; coincides with Central Library hours.
- Vanderbilt Fine Arts Gallery: Monday–Friday, 11 a.m.–4 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday, 1–5 p.m.
- Massey Law Library: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Peabody Library: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Stevenson Science and Engineering Library: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Special Collections and University Archives: By appointment only.
- Walker Management Library: To follow the same visitor access as Owen Graduate School of Management dean/building.
- Wilson Music Library: To follow the same visitor access as Blair School of Music dean/building.
As is currently the case for Vanderbilt faculty, staff and students, alumni and emeriti faculty may now access the libraries at any time using their Commodore Cards. Campus visitors who are accompanied by a community member, such as an admissions officer or faculty researcher, also are welcome.
