The Center for Teaching and the Office of Immersion Resources are hosting an Immersion Vanderbilt Experience Mentorship Workshop on Tuesday, March 15, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. via Zoom. Faculty and staff who are interested in learning more about changes to Immersion Vanderbilt and best practices in mentoring Immersion Vanderbilt experiences are invited to attend.
The workshop is open to all full-time faculty and staff at Vanderbilt University. It will include a presentation and Q&A on Immersion Vanderbilt updates led by the Office of Immersion Resources, and a mentorship training led by the Center for Teaching.
Attendance at the workshop does not obligate faculty or staff to serve as Immersion Vanderbilt experience mentors. Attending the workshop and mentoring undergraduate immersive experiences are voluntary.
Staff who are interested in serving as experience mentors must attend this workshop and complete an application to mentor. The application link will be made available following the workshop. The workshop will be recorded for those who cannot attend.
