Vanderbilt Communications and Marketing wins three Emmy Awards

Vanderbilt University’s Communications and Marketing team was honored with three Emmy Awards from the Midsouth Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences during the organization’s livestreamed ceremony on Feb. 26.

Vanderbilt was nominated in three categories for its “How to Be a Champion” public service announcement, a collaboration between Communications and Marketing and Vanderbilt Athletics.

Zack Eagles won in the “Director–Short Form” and “Editor–Spot Announcement” categories, and Eagles, Mike Todd and Amy Wolf won in the “Sports Promotion” category, all for the PSA.

Vanderbilt University’s video unit has received 56 Midsouth Regional Emmy nominations and won 18 times since its creation in 2007.
