The Vanderbilt University School of Medicine Flexner Deans’ Lecture Series will present two student lectures on Monday, March 7, at noon in Langford Auditorium.
Evan Mercer, a fourth-year medical student, will give a talk titled “Doctors with Disabilities: Why my Deafness Will Help my Future Patients.”
Somtochukwu Ukwuani, a fourth-year medical student, will discuss “As Seen on TV: How Antiquated Stereotypes About Black Women that Persist in Media are Hurting our Patients.”
