Nominations are open for annual postdoc awards; deadline is March 11

The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and the Vanderbilt Postdoctoral Association will recognize Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center postdoctoral fellows who have demonstrated excellence in research, service, mentorship and a commitment to the postdoc community with the annual postdoc awards. Mentors also will be recognized for their willingness to share expertise and advice, service to the community at large, and participation in other mentoring activities. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, March 11.

The following awards will be presented:

  • Postdoctoral Fellow of the Year
  • Postdoc Mentor of the Year
  • Postdoc Service Award
  • Faculty Mentor of the Year

The awards ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, at 4 p.m. with a reception to follow.
