Facilities Department to host educational classes for faculty, staff

The Vanderbilt University Facilities Department will host several upcoming sessions of Facilities University, a series of classes to educate the Vanderbilt community about the inner workings of the department.

The six-class learning experience aims to help staff and faculty understand the intricacies of the department by taking an in-depth look at the Plant Operations, Business Operations, Real Estate, Sustainability and Environmental Management and Campus Planning and Construction offices.

These interactive, hands-on courses are designed to create a connection so that attendees will gain real-world knowledge they can apply at work and at home.

Facilities University is hosted in person on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for six-week sessions on the following dates:

  • March 16–April 20
  • June 8–July 13
  • Sept. 21–Oct. 26
