The Nashville area is under a winter weather advisory from 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, until 4 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4. The forecast calls for potential freezing rain.
Any faculty, staff or students planning to travel to campus should be mindful of road conditions and use discretion in choosing whether to make the commute. Personal safety is the first priority.
Take extra time when walking outdoors. If you see ice that has not been treated, report the location to Facilities at 615-322-2621.
Campus operations will continue tomorrow with Campus Dining, Facilities and VUPS preparing to ensure there is staffing this evening and tomorrow. As a reminder, the COVID-19 testing center at the David Williams II Recreation and Wellness Center is closed on Fridays.
