Vanderbilt’s Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program is seeking Friendship Families for the 2022 spring semester. The Humphrey Fellowship Program at Vanderbilt brings accomplished mid-career educational leaders from developing nations and emerging democracies to the United States for an academic year of leadership and professional development as well as fosters mutual exchange. Humphrey Fellows for 2021-22 are from the following countries and regions: Bangladesh, Barbados, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Estonia, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Pakistan, Philippines, Turkey and Ukraine.

Friendship Families are an integral part of the fellows’ experience in the United States. They act as friends and extended family networks to the fellows during their stay in Nashville. The main mission of Friendship Families is to assist the international fellows in adjusting to life in the United States and Nashville and provide an opportunity for cultural exchange among the Friendship Families, the community and the fellows.

If interested, please submit this form by Thursday, Dec. 30, to receive more information. For questions, email Sarah Crane at sarah.k.crane@vanderbilt.edu.
