Vanderbilt undergraduate colleges and schools are observing winter break Dec. 19–Jan. 7. Residence halls will close at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19, and reopen at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 7. Classes for undergraduates resume on Monday, Jan. 10.
Vanderbilt University’s winter break for employees will run from Friday, Dec. 24, through Monday, Jan. 3. The university will return to full operating status on Tuesday, Jan. 4.
Some campus libraries will offer limited services for students and employees who are on campus. Please consult this schedule for library hours during this period.
The Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center will be closed from Dec. 24 through Jan. 3.
Campus Dining will modify its hours of operation over winter break.
Vanderbilt student centers are closed for winter break.
Mail Services will observe the following schedule over winter break:
Station B Post Office
- Dec. 23–29 – CLOSED
- Dec. 30–31 – package window, metering services, mail routes and stamped mail drop boxes OPEN; U.S. Postal Service window CLOSED through Jan. 2
- Jan. 1 – CLOSED
Peabody Commons Post Office
- Dec. 24–Jan. 2 – CLOSED
