Students can access support during the upcoming winter break, even while away from campus. The Student Care Network offers a host of self-directed tools that students can utilize on their own time to support their health and well-being.
Vanderbilt students have access to Academic Live Care for physical and behavioral telehealth, Headspace, and Vanderbilt Meditation Tracks. In addition, international students can access MySSP for therapy and immediate support.
Students on the Student Health Insurance Plan have access to coverage nationwide. They can use the Aetna provider search tool or resources on the Office of Student Care Coordination finding off-campus support page to locate nearby providers.
Immediate crisis support remains available through the University Counseling Center 24/7, including during academic breaks, by calling 615-322-2571 (press option 2 if the UCC is closed).
The Student Health Center will remain open during regular hours weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the exceptions of Dec. 16 (closing at 12:30 p.m.), Dec. 23 (closing at noon) and Dec. 24, Dec. 27 and Dec. 31 (closed all day). After-hours provider assistance is always available, no matter one’s location, by calling the Student Health Center at 615-322-2427.
