On Nov. 2, 2021, at 6:40 p.m., VUPD received a report that a vehicle was missing from Lot 77 on 18th Avenue South. Video surveillance revealed that at 5:35 p.m. three males entered the parking lot from the alley on the east side of the lot. The males were seen pulling on several vehicle door handles until they were able to gain access to what appears to be an unlocked vehicle. The video shows the three males driving away in the stolen vehicle.
This security notice is being issued to remind the Vanderbilt community:
- Always remove your keys and lock your vehicle doors.
- Do not leave your identification, keys, wallet, money, cell phone or other valuables in open view.
