Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson booster shots available to Vanderbilt faculty, students, staff and postdocs who meet eligibility requirements

Faculty, staff and postdocs who meet eligibility requirements can receive the Pfizer COVID-19 booster shot at the Occupational Health Clinic on the sixth floor in the Medical Arts Building Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Walk-in services are available; no appointment is needed.

OHC also has a limited number of Johnson & Johnson booster shots available for faculty, staff and postdocs. Pfizer booster shots are available to those who meet eligibility requirements, regardless of which vaccine you received for your primary series.

Faculty, staff and postdocs also can use the patient scheduling processes. Those who are VUMC patients can schedule Pfizer COVID-19 booster vaccines through My Health at Vanderbilt. Faculty, staff and postdocs who are not VUMC patients can schedule through VUMC Vax, an online scheduling tool. For more information, visit https://www.vumc.org/coronavirus/GetVaccines.

Students who are eligible for boosters can receive them from the Student Health Center. The Student Health Center has J&J and Pfizer vaccines. Visit the Student Health Center website to complete the online COVID vaccine scheduling form, and you will be contacted for an appointment.

You also may check with your medical provider or vaccinefinder.org for help finding locations that have the vaccine you need.

When you receive your booster, you should submit your record to the Public Health Command Center using the COVID-19 vaccine portal.
