In preparation for Phase I of soft launch of VERA on Oct. 1, users of COEUS reports will see some changes to Oracle BI the week of Sept. 27. Reports will continue to be accessed from the Sponsored Programs Administration website using the link to Reporting Tools. Listed below is a summary of what to expect:
- You will no longer see a COEUS folder. See the details about a Legacy folder below.
- You will see a new folder labeled VERA. Most users will see two subfolders—Department Reports and General Reports. If you had access to the Department Reports in COEUS, you should have access to the VERA subfolders. If you need access to these reports, please contact verahelp@vanderbilt.edu.
- The VERA reports will search data from both COEUS and VERA. Users will have to choose which data set to drive the report. Any report in the VERA subfolder (except the Legacy Folder—see below) will have an option for searching either the COEUS or VERA data. The reports can then be combined using Excel. More detailed instructions for individual reports will be added to the SPA website. As a reminder, here is a summary of which system will have the data you need.

- You also will see a VERA subfolder labeled Legacy Reports. These are some of the reports formerly available in the COEUS folder and are populated solely from COEUS data. These Legacy Reports will be available until Nov. 30, 2021.
