Inclusive Book Group event to feature Alice Randall, author of ‘Black Bottom Saints,’ July 22

Vanderbilt’s Inclusive Book Group will meet online Thursday, July 22, to discuss Black Bottom Saints featuring a moderated discussion with the author, Alice Randall, writer-in-residence in African American and diaspora studies at Vanderbilt.

The virtual gathering, hosted by the Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center in partnership with the Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries and the Robert Penn Warren Center for the Humanities, will take place from noon to 1 p.m. CT.

The Inclusive Book Group encourages Vanderbilt community members to read beyond their comfort zone and explore new authors and subjects.
